Bengals vs Broncos

CINCINNATI — Tee Higgins knew Saturday night was special for him and the Bengals.

With his contract ending after this season, the game against the Broncos might have been his last home game with the team that drafted him. Cincinnati also needed a win to stay in the playoff race.

Higgins played through ankle and knee injuries. Earlier in the week, he texted coach Zac Taylor, saying, “I’m playing.”

Higgins delivered. He caught 11 passes for 131 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winner in overtime. The Bengals beat the Broncos 30-24, staying in playoff contention.

“It’s the best feeling ever,” Higgins said.
